“The school Governors met last night for the final full Governing Body meeting of the school year. We reviewed what has been a good year for the school. A “good” Ofsted rating and recognition that this is an “outstanding” church school are particular highlights. Governors have also conducted recent key stage visits and have been impressed by the teaching techniques and performance. The children are fantastic. Their work (individual and collaborative) is always outstanding. The consensus of the children is that they enjoy this school and feel that they are inspired to achieve.
Looking ahead, there is already a lot of planning taking place for the next school year. Everyone is committed to nuturing and building on the attainment of the children and the development of the school overall. The teaching of Mastery in History next year is certainly something to look out for.
The Governors are truly grateful to Mrs Gaiteri and all the staff at Wormley Primary School for all their hard work this year”
