The next couple of weeks are expected to be busy ones as we begin to wrap up for Christmas.

Pizza making:

Next week we will be making pizzas as part of a DT project. Please ensure that you let your child’s class teacher know of any allergies. Please could your child also bring in a mixing bowl and spoon on Wednesday 18th December.

Christmas cards:

Some of the children in the school are sorting Christmas cards, using a Christmas postbox, as part of a learning project. If your child has written Christmas cards, please encourage them to write full names and the class of the children they’re sending them to, so that they can be delivered via the Christmas postbox.

Important dates for the next two weeks:

Tuesday 10th – Last messy church of this year.

Wednesday 11th – Children that are part of the choir to sing at Wollensbrook from 5.30pm – 6.30pm.

Friday 13th – Christmas jumper day. Christmas dinner day (£2.50 for a dinner). Christmas fare from 2pm.

Tuesday 17th – Rocksteady concert for parents whose children are in a Rocksteady band (3.15pm in KS1 hall).

Wednesday 18th – Aladdin pantomime – children to please be dropped off at the Spotlight theater. Children are allowed to wear Christmas jumpers on this day too.

Thursday 19th – Christmas crafts workshop with Miss Davies making sweet trees (3-4pm). Forms available at reception.

Friday 20th – Last day of term. Children break up from school at 1.30pm.
