Thank you to our parents who were able to attend our Tea and Toast morning earlier this month. We appreciate your time and input into how the school can improve.

Our next meeting is Wednesday 29th November at 9am.

You highlighted a number of things we do very well such as how well we know the children; how children are given opportunities to lead and take responsibility; and Forest School Education.

There were three key areas identified for improvement:
Friends of Wormley: Some parents have expressed an interest in joining a PTA committee to raise funds for the school (more details on the newsletter – 9th November).
Security gates: The governing body undertake an annual risk assessment to ensure that the level of security of our premises keeps pupils safe. A request for electric gates was investigated but costs would be in excess of £20,000 and the school has no funds for this at present.
Communication: There are a number of ways you can keep in touch with what is happening at school – these are detailed below.

If you ever need to talk in depth with your class teacher about your child, please contact the school and the teacher will phone you back or make an appointment to meet.
