Hi all,

Welcome back! We hope that you all had a lovely summer and a well deserved relax. Year 5 have had a great first week back and have settled in well.

Some important things that you need to know about year 5:

  • PE is on a Monday, so children need to bring in the appropriate PE kit (please bring in jumpers and joggers as the weather starts to get colder)
  • Home learning will be due in every Tuesday
  • Spellings will be tested and new ones will be given out every Friday
  • Children are expected to read everyday

 

Some important dates for the diary:

  • Meet the teacher – Thursday 12th September (straight after school)
  • British Museum trip for Whales – Friday 20th September
  • British Museum trip for Dolphins – Friday 27th September
  • Harvest Festival – Thursday 3rd October
  • Hello Yellow Day – Thursday 10th October
  • Parents evening – Monday 21st (3.30pm-5.30pm)
  • Parents evening – Wednesday 23rd (5-8pm)
  • Living history day – Thursday 24th October
  • Inset day – Friday 25th October
