We can’t believe we only have a week and a half left of this school year and how fast the year has flown by. We have a few important dates coming up before we finish.

Tuesday 16th July- Final messy church of the year.

Friday 19th July- Own clothes day! In exchange please bring in a bottle of something for the adult tombola.

Tuesday 23rd July- Wormley’s Summer concert starting at 1pm. Following that there will be a Summer fayre on the school field. There will be lots of stalls to win prizes and a BBQ.

Wednesday 24th July- Last day of school. Finish at 1.30pm

Over the next week we will be recapping over money and time in Maths. Please encourage the children to identify coins and help to find the correct amount to pay for items. They can also read the time at different points across the day.

In English the children are writing a persuasive letter focusing on using the words and, but and because to extend their sentence.

Thanks for your continuing support.
