SATs Week Reminders

SATs week is upon us and the children are ready! They have worked hard and deserve success. Here are a few reminders…

  • School will be open for breakfast from 8.25am Monday-Thursday next week (please enter the school through the usual entrance in the 3/4 playground). We will provide a light, healthy breakfast for them in the dining room. Please provide your child with an additional piece of fruit to have in school each day. They must also have their water bottles in school every day, as we will not be providing throw-away plastic cups. Breakfast is not compulsory but please ensure your child does arrive in school in good time that week.
  • Swimming will take place as usual on Monday afternoon. In addition to their usual swimming kit, children will also require (for lifesaving): 2 long sleeved shirts / tops and a pair of lightweight trousers (not jeans or leggings).
  • PE will take place as usual on Thursday afternoon.
  • School is closed on Friday 17th May for an occasional day.

How to prepare this weekend:

  • Revise key facts little and often.
  • Have early nights over the weekend and all next week (it does make a difference!).
  • Continue to eat a healthy and varied diet.
