Free workshops for parents – ADDvance

We are delighted to announce our NEW PROGRAMME OF ONLINE WORKSHOPS for parents and carers in Herts.

The workshops will run from October 2020 to March 2021 with funding from Hertfordshire County Council. Bookings are now open for October workshops. Bookings will open for November workshops on Saturday 24th October.

FREE workshops funded by Hertfordshire County Council which have been specially designed to help you to support your child’s education during COVID 19. For more details and bookings, please visit eventbrite.

We are offering a number of places reserved specifically for families with a Families First Assessment, Child Protection Plan or Child in Need Plan in place on all workshops funded by Hertfordshire County Council. Parent/carers should select Priority Admission Only when booking.
Keeping your SEND family safe online – 19th October – 10 to 1130 am
We are also delighted to offer a FREE online workshop delivered by TechSafe. There are only 12 places available, so early booking is essential. Bookings and more information also via eventbrite.

Please share this information as appropriate.

To support children with communication and autism needs and their families during this unsettled period, the Specialist Advisory Teachers will be extending the hours of our telephone advice line from Monday 23rd March until the schools reopen.

It will be open daily between 10am and 2pm (term time) to provide advice and guidance for parents and carers. If you wish to speak to a Specialist Advisory Teacher please call 01442 453920 during these times.

Please note: We are unable to provide advice in relation to the coronavirus or the duration of school closures.
