Image result for lion king

What a fantastic week! The children have been busy making Niçoise salads in French, walking down the River Lee and going to see The Lion King at the theatre.

After half term, year 5 will be carrying on the Lion King theme and will be making puppets, as part of the Arts Award project. Please could the children bring in shoe boxes and cardboard boxes (e.g. cereal boxes) as these will act as stages. Also, if you have any spare material (e.g. felt, cotton, wool etc.) please can you bring that in for the first week back.

Sports day

Sports day starts tomorrow for years 3 to 6 at 10am on the field. Parents are invited to watch and show their support. Please make sure that you child comes into school tomorrow in P.E. kit, with their coloured t-shirt, a water bottle and a hat. Children are to be collected once sports day finishes from their classrooms at the normal time.
