Wormley Primary School deal with our own admissions for the Nursery. Our Nursery is available to all 3 and 4 year olds.

Sep 24 Nursery Admissions:

For children born between 01/09/2020 and 31/08/2021.

If you would like a tour of the Nursery/Reception please contact the school office 01992 303331 opt 7 – these are being held throughout November 2023.


Important Dates:

Nursery Applications for Sep 24/25 open: Friday 3rd November 2023


Application Closing Date: Friday 8th March 2024 (applications can be accepted at any point after this date, but will be subject to availability).


30 Hour Funding:

All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours a week free early education for 38 weeks of the year. Some 3 and 4 year olds may be entitled to 30 hours a week free education. The 30 hour free childcare entitlement is available to those families who meet the criteria. Parents can check their eligibility on:

Those eligible for 30 hours will do 15 hours in our Nursery and 15 hours in our Pre-School.


Morning Nursery: 9am -12pm

Afternoon Nursery: 12:10pm – 3:10pm


Sep 24 Reception Admissions:

For children born between 01/09/2019 and 31/08/2020.

Hertfordshire County Council deal with our school admissions.
