We have lots planned for next half term and now the weather is warming up there will be lots of opportunities for outdoor learning. Please ensure your child has a sun hat in school every day and apply suncream before school.

If you are able to we would encourage you to do some pre-learning this half term with your children. We will put ideas on this blog for you with new vocabulary or concepts we are learning so that the children can have a head start on their learning for the next week.

Next week we will be focusing on time in Maths, including vocabulary such as o’clock and half past. We will also be looking at doubling and halving numbers to 20.

We would encourage children to read as much as possible coming up to their phonics screening.

We are aware that some people have had problems with their TT Rockstars giving the children questions beyond their age range. When logging on, please ensure your are either playing the game called ‘Garage’ or ‘Arena’ in order to get questions for y1 age range.

Thank you for your continued support
