Hi all,

This year for the summer concert, the children will be performing a dance to ‘I just can’t wait to be king’ from the Lion King. The children are learning the dance at school, so please could you encourage them to practise or perform the dance moves to you using this link for music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJEBV11ONHE .

We would like the children to be dressed as animals, so please could you provide them with a yellow, orange, animal print or brown t-shirt and black shorts or leggings.  Some of the children have bought in brilliant masks for home learning, which we are aiming to use on the day, so we would really appreciate it if anyone could make good quality extra masks to be worn during the performance. For those without masks, we will try to face paint on the day to make the children into different animals. Please could you let us know whether your child is allergic to face paints so that we can allocate any already-made masks to those particular children with allergies.

Thank you again for your continued support.

Year 5 team.
