The last few weeks we have been thinking about being resilient. Agent Resilient has a shield to defend against challenges and negativity. Agent Resilient uses the power of ‘yet’ . You will hear Agent Resilent saying, ‘I can’t do this… yet!’

Welcome to the launch of the Wellbeing Agents. The children have designed and developed four Wellbeing Agents to spread the message of the importance of a healthy mind and body. The Wellbeing Agents and The Learning Agents support the children with becoming Super Social Learners. Click here to watch ‘The Story of the Wellbeing Champs’.

Our social learning this year is all about 3 new learning words: collaborate, justify and reflect.
At our first INSET day of the year, teaching staff and governors discussed and sorted a range of ‘learning words’ into three groups: those we thought that were ‘in the bag’ and used confidently by pupils, those in the ‘storage bag’ that would be important but for another time and three words in the ‘carrier bag’ that we thought were the most important for the children this year.
Collaborate, justify and reflect have been chosen and will be developed with the children through enrichment days, lessons, collective worship and just about any learning the children engage in this year.
Look out for opportunities to join in with our social learning. Your first opportunity will be Living History day (20th October) where the children plan to ‘justify’ the outcomes of their enquiries about a period of British history. You will help decide how well they have justified their findings!
