Year 2 had a fantastic day last Wednesday for our very own ‘His

tory off the Page’. The children looked brilliant dressed up in their outfits and were so excited to find out about the Great Fire.
First, we went on a journey to the past to find out when and where

 the fire started, why it spread so quickly and how people tried to put out the fire. We were also introduced to Samuel Pepys and his diary, which told us lots about the events around the fire.
Afterwards, we enjoyed a range of activities in groups such as designing our own Tudor houses and working in an Apothecary! Take a look at some photos below!
