On Friday 8th November a team of runners from KS2 competed in the District Cross Country event at The Broxbourne School.

All the children demonstrated great resilience by completing the challenging course.

Three children placed in the top three for their age group: Elis 1st Y6 boys; Harrison 3rd Y6 boys & Alfie 3rd Y3 boys.

The Y3&4 girls team achieved 3rd place. The Y5&6 boys team achieve 1st place.

Overall, Worlmey Cof E Team placed 2nd for the entire event.

Congratulations to all participants and thank you for the great support from their families on the day!
