TEA AND TOAST MORNING FOR PARENTS
9am Wednesday 7th March 2018 Community Classroom
All welcome!
The focus of this half term’s get-together is Good Mental Health and Emotional Well-being. It’s an opportunity to find out what is going on in school as well as giving us feedback and new ideas. Please join us!
Due to frozen water pipes, school will be closed 2nd March 2018. School will open again Monday 5th March.
We have celebrated a fantastic World Book Day today. Children and staff arrived dressed as characters from a favourite book. They looked amazing!
Over the day, each phase performed poetry recitals to their parents. Their performances were spine tingling – so energetic, atmospheric and professional! What stars they were.
After lunch, classes split so that the older children could read to the younger ones and vice versa.
There was an opportunity to swop books and buy some too.
It was a great, memorable day! Keep up the inspiring reading.
Don’t forget to get some sponsors for your sponsored reading challenge!
We are open as usual today but please wrap up warm and take care travelling to and from school.
Don’t forget your costumes for World Book Day. We will celebrate as planned with our poetry recitals for parents which will be held in the KS1 hall.
