Celebrating World Book Day

Mar

We have celebrated a fantastic World Book Day today. Children and staff arrived dressed as  characters from a favourite book. They looked amazing!

Over the day, each phase performed poetry recitals to their parents. Their performances were spine tingling – so energetic, atmospheric and professional! What stars they were.

After lunch, classes split so that the older children could read to the younger ones and vice versa.

There was an opportunity to swop books and buy some too.

It was a great, memorable day! Keep up the inspiring reading.

Don’t forget to get some sponsors for your sponsored reading challenge!
