Copper Coin Challenge!

The NSPCC have put on two great assemblies in school this week. They shared important messages and reminded pupils how to stay safe. They will be back next week to do some workshops in Year 6.

As a thank you for the brilliant work this charity does, our Pupil Parliament have decided to organise a fundraising initiative. From Monday until the January 31st there will be a jar in each classroom to collect copper coins.

Please send in any loose change to go in the jars to support this charity!

A wriggly nativity!

Year 2 put on amazing nativity performances yesterday at their Wriggly Nativity! With beautiful singing, clear voices and talented dancing, they told the nativity story to an audience of proud families. Congratulations to the pupils and their teachers: all your hard work paid off! You were brilliant!

Christmas Fayre: Friday 15th December

Our Christmas fayre is being held straight after school this Friday! Please come along with family and friends and enjoy the festive fun!

There will be lots of games and activities, face-painting, a bottle tombola, drinks, snacks and Christmas gifts for sale. You also have the chance to visit Santa or Olaf in their grotto and receive a gift.

The hamper raffle will be drawn at 5pm so don’t forget to buy your tickets (£1 each) either before and after school this week or at the fayre.

We look forward to seeing you there!

School open Tuesday 12th December

School intends to open tomorrow but we expect icy conditions on the playgrounds so please take extra care and wrap-up warm. The boiler that supplies heating to KS1 is still a concern so those classes will be using other spaces in the school.

Safety is a priority so we will continue to monitor weather conditions and communicate if there needs to be changes to arrangements.
