Y3 AND Y4 HISTORY TRIPS TO THE BRITISH MUSEUM

Jan
19

As part of our history studies, Y3 went to see the Egyptian mummies at the British museum.

They were able to learn all about the Pharaohs who ruled Ancient Egypt and learnt about their beliefs of the after-life by seeing the sarcophaguses and mummies

On Tuesday 30th January, Y4 will also visit the British Museum to see the Greek pots.

They will be able to learn a lot about life in Ancient Greece by looking at the pictures on the pots and thinking about what the pots were used for.

Thank you to our PTA for paying for one of the coaches which meant we could organise these educational trips without cost to families.

ACT OF KINDNESS

Jan
19

Last weekend, two of our pupils decided to take part in a random act of kindness – litter picking around our school.

Children really care about our community and for all that live there, including the animals, birds and insects that share it with us. Thank you.

Cross Country

Congratulations to our Cross Country team that competed in the event at Broxbourne secondary school.

All the children participated in a terrific spirit and many won medals. The 3&4 boys team and the y5&6 boys team each placed 3rd overall.

Perhaps this is a credit to our daily PE activity including the Daily Mile. Well done to all the children and staff involved.

Thank you to Broxbourne for hosting and we look forward to next year’s event.
