The 2017 Bishop’s Harvest Appeal, ‘Full of Beans’, is supporting the development of community projects which transform the lives of people in the remote rural villages of the Philippines – in the Tinglayan mountain district. They have discovered their soil is perfect for growing high quality beans.

KS1 and KS2 children share stories about the Philippines and the bean projects at the Harvest Festival at St Augustines Church on Thursday 28th September. We give thanks as we count our blessings through prayers, stories and poems. Food donations will be given to the Wormley Food Bank and money donations will go to the Bishop’s Harvest Appeal.
