On Wednesday 15th November, pupils from Year 5 and 6 competed in an inter-school netball and football tournament, which was held at The John Warner School.

Netball

It was a very successful tournament for both the A and B Netball teams.

The A team won all of their games in the group stage, and won the semi- final game, taking them to the final. They narrowly missed out, by one goal, and came 2nd, bringing home silver medals. Well done girls!

The B team came 3rd in their group, winning the majority of their games, bringing home bronze medals. Great work girls!

Football

Both football teams performed with commitment and passion throughout the tournament.

The A team qualified from their group in 2nd place, but unfortunately lost in both the semi-final and the 3rd/4th play off.

The B team finished 3rd in their group and scored some brilliant individual and team goals.

Well done to all those who competed; you should all be very proud of yourselves.
