Year 5 got to explore first hand the local history of Hertfordshire with a walk along the New River. Students made their way along the river to St Augustine’s and back.
During that time, they connected this history of the river to features around it – freshwater being a key reason for it’s construction.
Some students were even lucky enough to have a visit from Rev Grant!
